In the recent decade, the rise of women in the corporate world has been witnessed, showing that they are on the right track. Besides these women’s progress, the country is also helping females grow by launching initiatives like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, MUDRA Yojana, and SHG-based entrepreneurship programs, among others. From corporate to politics, women can be seen everywhere, reclaiming their value by becoming decision-makers in families, communities, and workplaces.

FKCCI Initiative to Boost Women-led Entrepreneurship in K'taka
The Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) has launched a comprehensive initiative to promote women-led entrepreneurship across the state. FKCCI president Uma Reddy is spearheading the effort, the first woman to take the helm of the 108-year-old industry body.
Shafali Verma Replaces Injured Pratika Rawal in Women's WC 2025
The ICC has approved Indian opener Shafali Verma as a replacement for injured Pratika Rawal for India at the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025.
The Event Committee granted the approval subsequent to Pratika sustaining a leg injury while fielding during India's last league match of the tournament against Bangladesh on Sunday.

In a concrete manifestation of women's leadership within the security apparatus, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will receive a guard of honour by contingents of police and paramilitary personnel.
One being a police contingent and the other a paramilitary contingent, both commanded by a female officer during the celebration of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) parade on coming Friday.
Jemimah Leads India to Women's WC Final with Century Against Aus
Jemimah Rodrigues made an unbeaten century to India into the final of the Women’s Cricket World Cup after the host and defending champion Australia was defeated via five-wicket victory on Thursday.
Jemimah scored 127 runs off 134 balls, and guided India towards a world record chase of 341-5 in 48.3 overs, the highest successful chase in World Cup knockout history, between men or women. India will now face South Africa in the final on Sunday in the same venue, in its first final.
Diana Pundole to Be First Indian Woman in Ferrari Club Challenge
Pune's Diana Pundole will be the first Indian woman to make it to the starting line of a Ferrari in an international motorsport event. The 32-year-old will represent India in the Ferrari Club Challenge Middle East, a race series starting in November 2025 and ending in April 2026.
