815 Ladakh Women visit Rural areas Ensuring Safe Drinking Water

Ladakh women are working tirelessly towards the supply of safe drinking water for people in remote villages who are living in one of the most challenging environments in the nation.

The Jal Shakti Department has trained up to 815 women to test the water and report any inconsistencies in the samples. The Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), which guarantees tap water connectivity to all residents has provided the women with skill development and training.

Amazon India signs MoU with AICTE under Amazon's WoW Initiative

In order to expand the Amazon WoW (Women of the World) initiative driven by Amazon India, the giant has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

This program aims to empower and support female students pursuing engineering courses in Indian institutions with essential skills for the technology industry. Amazon's Director of Students Programs, Suman Yadav signed a collaboration agreement with AICTE, chaired by Professor T G Sitharam.
