November 12 was celebrated as Diwali across India. On the momentous occasion, some of the country’s top politicians and highest position holders met each other and celebrated Diwali.
President Draupadi Murmu invited VP Jagdeep Dhankhar, PM Narendra Modi, and other Indian Union Ministers to Rashtrapati Bhavan. She met them and congratulated them on Diwali.
VP Jagdeep Dhankhar visited Rashtrapati Bhavan along with his wife Dr. Sudhesh Dhankhar. He presented President Murmu with a bouquet of roses and congratulated her on Diwali.
The Prime Minister also visited Rashtrapati Bhavan to wish President Murmu on Diwali. He met President Murmu and Vice President Dhankhar to wish them on the occasion of Diwali and had a long conversation with the President.
On the occasion, Union Minister Piyush Goyal and Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani also paid a visit to the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Piyush Goyal presented a bouquet to the President and wished her on the occasion of Diwali.
