10 Armed Forces Women Officers to Sail on Historic Naval Mission
Ten Indian women officers of the country's armed forces are going to make history by boarding the Indian Armed Services Vessel (IASV) Triveni for a historic journey. Through the journey, they will cover more than 26,000 nautical miles, crossing the Equator twice and passing three of the major capes. For the first time, women officers of the Indian Army will be on such a mission.

FarmDidi Raises Rs 7 Crore Seed Funding to Empower Rural Women
FarmDidi, a direct-to-consumer (D2C) pickle company that empowers rural women, has raised more than ₹7 crore in a Seed financing round headed by Samved Ventures. It also saw participation from LetsVenture, Indigram Labs, IIM Calcutta Innovation Park, and an angel network of investors connected with IIM Calcutta and Symbiosis.
Sushila Karki Named Interim PM of Nepal After Protests
UN agencies in Nepal greeted the interim appointment of Sushila Karki as Prime Minister on Friday, as the country struggles with the consequences of the brutal attack against anti-government protests organized by youths, which resulted in over 50 deaths, inflicted enormous damage, and forced the former prime minister to resign.
