Ashu Tomar Appointed as President & Chief Business Officer of ITI Ltd.

- Investment Trust of India Limited (ITI Ltd.) has appointed Ashu Tomar as its new President & Chief Business Officer
- In her new role, she will be responsible for developing the business and strengthening customer relationships
The Investment Trust of India Limited (ITI Ltd.) has appointed Ashu Tomar as President & Chief Business Officer.
Ashu will be responsible for strategic business growth, developing long-term client relationships, and designing innovative financial solutions that align with the vision of ITI to promote entrepreneurial-driven development across India.
Ashu is appointed to ITI Ltd.'s executive management team from Senior Vice President at JM Financial Ltd., a position she has held for more than three years, where she had strategic business development and client relationships in the financial services space. Her role was to comprehend market drivers and provide value for long-term business.
Before JM Financial, Ashu was with Ambit Capital for over four years as Marketing and Strategy Manager in Asset Management.
She oversaw global marketing initiatives, grew assets under management (AUM), onboarded domestic and international channels, and worked with CXOs on strategic decisions.
Previous in her career, Ashu worked at Citibank India for more than five years as Channel Manager and Investment Specialist.
In these roles, she was responsible for handling sales teams, vendor P&L, corporate relationships, and investment strategies and developed extensive experience in financial structuring and client handling.
Ashu started her professional journey with the positions of Marketing Lead at GRiN and Summer Intern at Wipro Consumer Care, for which she did market research and created strategies to enhance sales. These experiences made her an expert in strategy, marketing, and customer interaction.
Apart from her corporate work, Ashu is a member of the Board of Governors at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Nagpur and a Strategic Advisor to the Sood Charity Foundation, which demonstrates her interest in educational and social causes.
