Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has appointed Kritika Saxena as the new Head of Marketing for India, marking a key leadership transition within the IT major. In her elevated role, Kritika will lead marketing strategy across the Indian market, strengthen the brand's presence, and drive flagship initiatives, such as the #AcceleratingIndia campaign. She will also oversee the TCS Experience Center in Mumbai, a storytelling-led showcase that highlights the company’s innovation and impact.

Kritika's mandate spans marketing for Public Services India as well as Rest of World (RoW) verticals, ensuring cohesive brand efforts across business units. Her promotion follows a successful five-year stint as Head of Corporate Communications at TCS, where she restructured the function, enhanced media strategy, and launched TCS Studios, the company’s in-house content and production hub.

Before joining TCS in 2020, Kritika spent over 14 years in journalism, including a long tenure at CNBC-TV18 as Chief of Bureau for Mumbai and South India, anchoring leading business shows such as After the Bell and India Business Hour. She also worked with BBC Studios and other media organisations.

Announcing her new role on LinkedIn, Kritika said she was “super stoked” to continue strengthening the brand, adding that “good storytelling is at the heart of everything.” She highlighted the #AcceleratingIndia campaign as particularly meaningful and credited TCS for fostering internal career mobility, calling her elevation an example of nurturing homegrown talent.
