  • RCB stay unbeaten with their third straight win
  • Radha Yadav and Richa Ghosh add a match-defining 105-run stand
  • Shreyanka Patil claims a five-wicket haul to derail GG

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) continued their flawless run in TATA WPL 2026 with a commanding 32-run victory over Gujarat Giants, extending their unbeaten streak to three matches. The win was built on a remarkable recovery with the bat and a ruthless bowling display that maintained their spot at the top of the table.

After being reduced to 43 for 4 inside the powerplay, RCB were steadied by an outstanding 105-run partnership between Richa Ghosh and Radha Yadav. Promoted up the order, Radha played a mature yet attacking knock, registering her maiden WPL fifty. Richa complemented her perfectly, ensuring the momentum never dipped. Their stand marked only the second-century partnership between two Indian batters in WPL history. A late cameo from Nadine de Klerk, who struck quick boundaries and sixes at the death, propelled RCB to a competitive 182 for 7.

Gujarat Giants began their chase brightly but failed to sustain partnerships. Early momentum was undone by regular wickets, with Shreyanka Patil emerging as the chief destroyer. Using clever changes of angle and pace, she claimed a five-wicket haul that dismantled Gujarat’s middle order. Lauren Bell provided vital support, mixing her pace effectively to pick up three wickets.

Bharti Fulmali offered brief resistance with some clean hitting, but her dismissal effectively sealed the contest. Gujarat were eventually bowled out for 150, falling short despite flashes of aggression.
