Publicis Groupe appoints Sonal Verma as the Managing Director of Arc Worldwide India. She will head the group's experiential shopper marketing business, reporting to Kedar Teny, Chief Product Officer at Publicis Groupe India.
Sonal will be responsible for overseeing Arc Worldwide India’s overall business operations, with a sharp focus on strengthening experiential marketing and connected commerce capabilities. Her mandate includes building solutions that help brands influence consumer choice at critical moments of decision, particularly closer to the point of purchase. This aligns with Publicis Groupe’s broader strategy of integrating brand, experience, and commerce to deliver measurable business outcomes for clients.
With over 25 years of experience in integrated marketing, experiential strategy, and consumer engagement, Sonal brings deep expertise in designing comprehensive brand experience platforms. She has worked extensively with both global and regional clients, creating strategies that seamlessly connect consumer insights, retail environments, and digital ecosystems. This background positions her well to lead Arc Worldwide India as brands increasingly seek unified, experience-led growth models.
Arc Worldwide functions as Publicis Groupe’s specialist arm for experiential and shopper marketing, helping brands navigate consumer journeys across physical and digital touchpoints. Its core focus lies in shaping purchase decisions through immersive brand experiences and connected commerce solutions.
Commenting on the appointment, Kedar Teny highlighted that Sonal’s leadership will accelerate Arc Worldwide India’s growing role in delivering impact at key experiential moments.
