Former Union Minister and the founder and Chairperson of the Alliance for Global Good: Gender Equity & Equality, Smriti Irani, will engage in the Women Inspiring Network (WIN) Lounge at the Week of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, 2026. This is going to be indicative of the accelerated role of India in the discourse of inclusion and equality.
WIN, a global non-profit organization, will present the second edition of #WINLounge during the WEF Week in Davos in 2026.
This will comprise more than 10 Indian women leaders who are making a substantial impact in business, finance, policy, technology, media, and innovation.
The WIN Lounge will feature a carefully organized program of panel sessions, fireside interviews, as well as networking opportunities.
Issues to be covered include leadership, entrepreneurship, building wealth, innovation and artificial intelligence, geopolitics and diplomacy, health and wellness, climate solutions, philanthropy, and capital in the future.
Being the only independent Indian platform at this prestigious event, it is an attempt at facilitating dialogues and inculcating learning at this major global event, which is considered one of the most influential in the world.
"At Davos in 2025, I promised to bring more women leaders from India in 2026 to Davos as part of WIN. It gives me great pleasure to say that we have met our commitment,” said Stuti Jalan, Founder of Women Inspiring Network.
The WIN Lounge for this year has been lined up to feature a formidable list of women leaders of India like Smriti Irani for 'The Alliance for Global Good: Gender Equity & Equality', Nivruti Rai for 'Invest India', Sangita Reddy for 'Apollo', Dipali Goenka for 'Welspun Living Ltd.', Priya Agarwal Hebbar for 'Vedanta', Radhika Bharat Ram for 'Shri Ram/KARM', Arti Gupta for 'Jagran Group', and lastly, Priti Rathi Gupta for 'Lxme'. This effort holds special importance given that it enables women of India to discuss their perspectives on global platforms.
The conference is expected to cover key discussions on topics such as Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation (Impact 4.0), Redefining Leadership in the Global Arena (Women, Wealth & Global Power), The Role of Philanthropy and Social Entrepreneurship in the 21st Century (Impact Is Influence), Redefining the Systems of Health and Climate Equity (A Trialogue on Health, Climate & Humanity), Women as Drivers of Geopolitics (Geopolitics & Power)
