Shanu Singh Appointed Marketing Head at Standard Chartered India

Shanu Singh has joined Standard Chartered Bank as Head – Marketing for Wealth and Retail Banking India, marking a significant leadership addition to the bank’s marketing and brand strategy function. In this role, she will lead integrated marketing initiatives across wealth and retail banking, driving brand growth, customer engagement, and business impact in one of the bank’s key markets.
Shanu Singh started with Standard Chartered more than six years ago, in several senior leadership roles in brand and marketing. During her previous tenure at the bank, she held senior positions in brand and marketing for three different lines of business, as well as played an important role in developing brand strategy and executing customer-focused marketing across multiple segments.
Before returning to Standard Chartered, she was the Chief Marketing Officer of ASK Asset & Wealth Management. In that role, she was responsible for brand transformation, and oversaw the strategic marketing initiatives that included launching a new corporate identity that enhanced the firm’s brand presence in the wealth management industry.
Before her current appointment, Shanu was with Kotak Mahindra Bank for more than eight years working in a variety of areas such as Product Marketing, Brand Communication and Customer Relationship Management giving her a firm base upon which to build her knowledge of banking and how to connect with customers.
Shanu has an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS).
