Rohini Nikelani Top Female on EdelGive-Hurun India Philanthropy List 2024

The EdelGive-Hurun India Philanthropy List 2024 was released on November 7, 2024. The list features 21 women philanthropists who collectively donated Rs 4,625 crore in FY24, with Rohini Nilekani leading with Rs 154 crore and Susmita Bagchi with Rs 990 crore, highlighting India's leading philanthropists' significant contributions. The list includes a total of 203 philanthropists, with 96 new entrants who donated the highest in education with Rs 3,680 crore and healthcare with Rs 626 crore.

Here are the top 10 women philanthropists featured on the 11th edition of the EdelGive-Hurun list among women entrepreneurs:

Rohini Nikelani leads the Hurun list among women philanthropists with an impressive donation of Rs 154 crore.

Susmita Bagchi ranked second with a donation of Rs 90 crore.

Kiran Mazumdar Shaw ranked third with a donation of Rs 85 crore supporting science, research, and education.

Sara George Muthoot ranked fourth spot with a donation of Rs 74 crore.

Anu Aga and family secured the fifth position with Rs 48 crore.

Leena Gandhi Tewari ranked sixth with a donation of Rs 25 crore.

Ina Ashwin Dani & Family ranked seventh with a donation of Rs 18 crore.

Archana Chandra ranked eighth with a donation of Rs 11 crore.

Shabana Faizal ranked ninth with a donation of Rs 10 crore.

Ritu Chhabria ranked tenth with a donation of Rs 9 crore.

Shiv Nadar and his family have topped the EdelGive-Hurun India Philanthropy List 2024 for the third time in five years, contributing Rs 2,153 crore. This list also included Mukesh Ambani and his family, the Bajaj family, Kumar Mangalam and his family, and Gautam Adani and his family.
