Ritu Shah is the new Chairperson of the FICCI Ladies Organization. She succeeded Subhra Maheshwary.

FLO is the women’s wing of the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI). It is an Indian forum for women. It has 19 chapters. FLO represents over 8000 women entrepreneurs and professionals. Hyderabad has a membership of over 1015.  Hyderabad Chapter is the most vibrant and largest chapter in the country

FLO provides a platform for women to showcase their talents, skills, experiences, and energies across sectors and verticals of the economy for a truly inclusive growth trajectory.

The new Chairperson for the year 2023-2024 Ritu Shah is a noted businesswoman and entrepreneur. Her team for the year will have Prachi Trivedi Shah, Honorary Secretary, Nishita Manne, Treasurer, Smita Sanghi, Honorary Joint Secretary, and Neeru Mohan as the Joint Treasurer.

Arthi Shah succeeded Sonali Modi Saraf as YFLO (Young FICCI Ladies Organisation)  ChairPerson for the year 2023 -2024.

Ritu Shah is associated with FLO for the past 18 years and held several positions. She is a partner of Sri Srinivasa Dairy Products.  It manufactures Cream Stone Ice cream and Scoops Ice Cream.  She is associated with several other businesses which are into Food packaging, Hotels, Hospitality, and Jewelry. She is a Founder Member of Krupa Foundation, a charitable organization that supports underprivileged children. She is a firm believer in the power of women and their ability to achieve great things.

Ritu Shah unveiled her vision for 2023-24. "My theme will focus on Sustainable Development that aligns with the UN SDGs". Fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity, she said we plan to achieve our goals and vision.

Sharing her vision, Ritu Shah said, "My theme will focus on Sustainable Development that aligns with the UN SDGs. Fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity enables us to achieve our goals and vision. I believe we can achieve great things together and positively impact our community. Our Tagline for this year − Sustain Her Ability, is envisioned on four main pillars: Health, Goals, Culture, and Education."

She emphasized the importance of collective empowerment, bridging collaborative empowerment and sustainable development, and recognizing women's empowerment as a continuous process that requires ongoing support and overcoming barriers.

Ritu Shah's endeavour this year is to work with the Government and corporations to create awareness and accessibility to menstrual hygiene products and mental health & wellness programs.

Ritu Shah said, "I would like to see more women in leadership and board positions by creating programs to enhance entrepreneurship and skill development, making women more employable and absorbable in markets. My aim is to plan and execute programs for digital literacy, financial literacy, skilling, and upscaling to women of all socioeconomic strata to help develop critical skills like decision-making, mental agility, problem-solving, and logical thinking.

Ritu Shah is very passionate about promoting the historical craft of Telia Rumal hand weave. Telia Rumal is a method for the oil treatment of yarn. It originated from different parts of both Telugu states.  The history of Telia Rumal goes back to the 19th century. The weave is patronized once by the Hyderabad aristocracies.  The royalty of Hyderabad is said to have fallen in lovewith it.

The YFLO Chairperson Aarthi Shah unveiled her vision. The theme of the year will be Learn, Explore and Execute. She hopes to carry forward the rich legacy of the organisation.  We will plan such events and initiatives which will bring a positive impact on society.
