In an effort to increase investor awareness and financial literacy, the Telangana government-backed WE HUB Foundation and the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Wednesday. The partnership will use NSE's Emerge platform to inform women-led MSMEs about IPO fundraising opportunities. In order to empower women and women-led businesses, the partnership also intends to establish a student skilling program in Telangana's Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) industry.

In front of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Industries and IT Minister D. Shridhar Babu, and Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka, NSE's Chief Business Development Officer, Sriram Krishnan, and WE HUB Foundation CEO, Sita Pallacholla, signed the Memorandum of Understanding.

In order to promote financial literacy and investor education, the NSE and WE HUB Foundation, a Section 8 non-profit organization under the Telangana government, will coordinate awareness campaigns through workshops, roadshows, seminars, camps, and knowledge sessions.

This strategic partnership intends to implement a comprehensive Student Skilling Program in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector, strengthen financial literacy through investor awareness programs (IAPs), and assist women-led MSMEs in raising capital through NSE's EMERGE platform.
