NK Proteins Strengthens Leadership Team, Appoints Bhavna Shah as Deputy CEO

NK Proteins Pvt Ltd, a leading edible and non-edible oil company and owner and marketer of a popular edible oil brand ‘Tirupati’, has appointed Bhavna Shah as its Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Bhavna's profound expertise and visionary leadership will play a crucial role in advancing the company’s strategic plans and realizing its long-term vision.
Her strategic insights and industry acumen will be instrumental as the company navigates through evolving market dynamics and explores new growth opportunities. She will operate and manage the company’s operations from Mumbai.
With an illustrious career spanning nearly three decades, Bhavna brings a wealth of experience and strategic vision to her new role. In her previous capacity as Head of the Malaysian Palm Oil Council for India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka, Bhavna spearheaded initiatives in product promotion, sustainability, and industry policy development. Her expertise in international trade relations has been widely recognized, making her a standout leader in the industry.
Bhavna’s distinguished career includes serving as past president of the Maharashtra Chapter and Co-Chair of the National Board of Advisors for the MSME & Startups Forum for Aatmanirbhar Bharat. Additionally, she has contributed significantly as an independent Director for Ruchi Soya Industries Limited.
Throughout her career, Bhavna has advised management on market development strategies and formulating policies to achieve organizational objectives. Among her notable achievements, Bhavna was honored as the first woman to receive the prestigious 'Globoil Person of the Year award in 2018 for her outstanding contributions to the vegetable oils trade and industry. She has also been recognized by SCODET ASIA with a Special Award for her exceptional industry contributions.
