NEWME to Expand in 20 Key Indian Cities offering Diversity to Gen Z Women

NEWME, a new-age fashion brand, plans to expand its line of styles and expand its presence in 20 key cities by opening 40-50 stores and improving its online platform, aiming to empower young women. CEO Sumit Jasoria mentions NEWME is planning an aggressive expansion plan to cater to the diverse preferences of Gen Z women, guided by its vision to embody individuality.
CEO Sumit states, "Since our inception in 2022, the journey has been driven by a deep understanding of Gen Z women, aged 18-25, who are keen on expressing their individuality through fashion. In the current financial year, we anticipate a significant 4-5X revenue increase, following our impressive 18-month growth streak of 7X." NEWME sources 40 per cent of its merchandise from India, and recognizes its potential as a sourcing destination.
NEWME is a rising fashion brand that is expanding its presence in India by opening 40-50 stores across 20 key cities. The company raised $18 million in Series A funding led by Accel, Fireside Ventures, and AUM Ventures. NEWME aims to provide a seamless customer experience, leveraging cutting-edge technology for efficient supply chain management. The company aims to stand out with global brands like Shein and domestic brands like Zudio, focusing on innovation and empowerment.
