Myntra CEO Nandita Sinha Likely to Step Down Ahead of IPO

By: WE Staff | Friday, 3 April 2026

  • Nandita Sinha, the current CEO of Myntra, is reported to be contemplating her exit in the coming weeks
  • The move is expected as the group is gearing up for a potential public listing
  • Nandita has been part of the Flipkart Group for over a decade now

Nandita Sinha (Chief Executive Officer - Myntra) may leave her position soon. This is taking place while Walmart-backed Flipkart (which also owns Myntra) is planning for a possible IPO in the near future.

For over a decade, Nandita has been with the Flipkart group and was made CEO of Myntra in 2022 when it grew steadily despite increased competition.

Moneycontrol was the first to break this news. Flipkart told Fortune India when contacted that they do not comment on market speculation; “we don’t comment on market speculation,” said a spokesperson for Flipkart.

Myntra continues to be a critical component of Flipkart’s overall e-commerce strategy. It has become one of the top online fashion retail sites in India since it was bought by Flipkart in 2014, with many competitors including Amazon Fashion, Reliance’s AJIO, Nykaa Fashion and Meesho.

Should there be a transition in leadership from Sinha to someone new, it is being reported that Sharon Pais (currently head of Flipkart Fashion) will take over as the new CEO of Myntra.

Walgreens has appointed Sharon Pais as their Business Officer for about four years prior to becoming the chief business officer for Flipkart in 2014 where she’s held several senior roles. Prior to joining Walgreens, she worked for Procter.

At this time, there is no official information regarding where Sinha will go or what his new position will be after leaving Myntra.

Sinha's departure from Myntra comes just as Flipkart is reportedly preparing for a public offering sometime within the next 12-15 months. In addition to Sinha’s exit from Myntra, in March 2026, there was also a resignation by Sriram Venkataraman (CFO of Flipkart Group).
