MomsLeague Global Celebrates 24 Mompreneurs in Mumbai

Mumbai witnessed an inspiring celebration of women-led entrepreneurship as MomsLeague Global hosted the third edition of its flagship Mother’s Day initiative, ‘Celebrating Mompreneurs 3.0’, at Someplace Else in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC).

It was a meeting for women entrepreneurs, creators, founders and changemakers to celebrate the mothers who can successfully do business and family and make a difference in society.

In the initiative, which was spearheaded by Avantika Bahuguna, Founder of MomsLeague Global, 24 amazing mompreneurs from various fields such as wellness, fashion, jewellery, education, healthcare and lifestyle were shown how they had made their journey to become successful women entrepreneurs.

Avantika said: “Celebrating Mompreneurs' is our annual Mother's Day initiative created to bring inspiring mom entrepreneurs into the spotlight and give them the recognition they truly deserve. Every year, we receive an overwhelming response from women building meaningful businesses across categories. It is deeply inspiring to witness mothers creating ventures that not only help them become financially independent but also uplift communities and empower other women around them."

The aim of the event was to celebrate women who are changing the definition of success by their resilience, ambition and leadership in the community.

There were also a number of prominent speakers and guests such as Priti Rathi Gupta & Ridhi Kanoria Doongursee Founders of LXME, educator Fatema Agarkar, and voice artist Sonal Kaushal aka the voice of Doraemon. The event was sponsored by LXME, India's financial platform for women, encouraging women entrepreneurs towards financial independence and wealth creation.

The event was also attended by a number of founders, parenting influencers and community leaders, such as Vivin Mathias, Sharanya K, Diva Dipti and Dr Tanvi Vaidya. Gifts were exchanged with Kiro Beauty, mompreneur, MomsLeague member and Little Fingers by Nira Shah.

The evening was marked with the award distribution ceremony for 24 women entrepreneurs for their contribution and entrepreneurial journey which was one of the highlights of the evening. They included startup businesses in fields ranging from jewellery and wellness to healthcare, consulting, fitness, PR, AI training and lifestyle businesses.

Speaking at the event, Avantika Bahuguna said that the initiative has been developed to give deserving recognition to mothers who are creating impactful businesses and to inspire and empower women. Fatema Agarkar pointed out the significance of such platforms in fostering collaboration, confidence and learning among women entrepreneurs.

Priti Rathi Gupta highlighted that financial independence of women is key and that women's financial empowerment is vital to building resilient communities and societies.

Additionally, Sonal Kaushal appealed to all women to build a sisterhood and collaborate with each other to support and uplift one another.

It was more than a celebration of Mother's Day, ‘Celebrating Mompreneurs 3.0' was a platform to network, share stories and build community, as modern mothers evolved into ambitious, resilient and unstoppable leaders.
