Mahindra Group Names Shuchi Suri as Executive Vice President

• She will oversee Mahindra Adventure and Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Ltd initiatives, reporting to Anish Shah
• Brings 22+ years of global leadership experience from Unilever

Mahindra Group has appointed Shuchi Suri as the Executive Vice President of Mahindra Experiences, which is part of the company's strategy to focus on growth through customer-centric experiences throughout its major businesses.

In her new position, Shuchi will be heading the newly formed Mahindra Experiences function, which will focus on creating world-class customer experiences for the entire Mahindra Group, as well as creating value for all of Mahindra Group's different types of businesses.

Additionally, she will manage the Mahindra Adventure team, which is part of the automotive division, as well as the Experiences team at Mahindra Holidays, working in conjunction with the various heads of those businesses. Shuchi will report to Dr. Anish Shah, Group CEO & Managing Director of Mahindra Group.

Shuchi has over 22 years of experience in leading global businesses at Unilever, holding senior positions across various countries and business units. Recently, she was Global Head of Homecare at Unilever Headquarters in London, running the global strategy and operations for a major Unilever business segment.

Prior to that, she served as Vice President for Home & Hygiene at Unilever Asia in Singapore, where she was responsible for driving growth and transformation within the key markets of home care and hygiene. In addition to these two positions, she worked as the Senior Director for Unilever's entire Asia Pacific region and as Business Director for Unilever's North Asia region, gaining vast experience managing complex and diverse markets and building successful teams.

Shuchi worked at Unilever HQ in London in a variety of global positions over time, including Global Director Fabric Care & Senior Marketing Manager Fabric Conditioners, helping to create innovation scale-out/category leadership within each position.

She began her career with Hindustan Unilever Limited, progressing through roles such as Country Marketing Manager Skincare, Country Brand Manager Beauty Portfolio, and Sales & Customer Manager to build a very solid foundation in brand marketing, customer insight, and go to market strategy.

Shuchi has a Diploma in Business Management (Marketing) from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow; this indicates that she has an excellent academic foundation for business and for leadership.

Shuchi has extensive background in consumer experience, brand strategy, and global leadership; as a result, she is ideally suited to lead Mahindra's vision to create uniquely differentiated/high impact experiences across its businesses.
