  • CENT launched a preventive health clinic in Bengaluru with advanced diagnostics

India, this country has implemented policies to improve reproductive health outcomes; however, access and availability have been unequal throughout the country.

The past decade has shown improvements in the maternal mortality rate and increased rates of delivery in healthcare facilities assisted by a variety of public health programs and reforms, such as the amendment to the Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act; yet there are still inequalities in the availability and access to these services throughout different states of India.

Amongst others, the Foundation for Reproductive Health Services India, which was established in 2009, is working to address these gaps by increasing the number of contraceptive choices, the number of safe abortion services, and providing systems of public health support to government entities to strengthen public health systems.

FRHS is affiliated with the international organisation MSI Reproductive Choices and primarily works in the states of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

Additionally, the CENT has opened its first hospital, Cent Clinics, a clinical prevention facility in Bengaluru, India. This facility, located in 7,000 sq. ft., will be used for the purpose of detecting critical health conditions in otherwise healthy people.

The proprietary CCNM protocol developed by CENT includes cardiac, cancer, neurological, and metabolic testing all in one cohesive solution.

The HIGH CTC is a full suite of advanced diagnostics such as total body MRI, ultra-low-dose cardiac CT scans, DEXA scans of bone density, ECG, and more than 120 biomarker tests and represents progress towards creating the first AI and standardised preventative health care service in India.
