Governments of Bihar, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana have collaborated with Leap 300 to enable over 5 lakh female entrepreneurs with their AI-driven entrepreneurship model. The programs will enhance capacities of rural women to start and run their own businesses.
Women will understand structured business planning, personalized AI guidance, thereby enhancing their business skills. Leap 300 is revolutionizing ways in which rural entrepreneurship programs are delivered and affected in its grassroots-level execution.
Key Highlights:
- Leap 300 partners with four states to support over 5 lakh women entrepreneurs
- AI-powered tools help rural women access business planning, training and financial guidance
- State programmes report progress in diverse business aspects
Women entrepreneurs will be able to make use of Leap 300’s beneficiary app to create and submit their AI-enabled business plans. Women will also learn the voice-enabled Learning Management System (LMS) and record their financial activities in a day using digital accounting software.
Technology adoption is one of the key measures. One of the integral parts of the platform is Vyapar Mitra, its AI-enabled business adviser that gives personalized suggestions to the entrepreneur and answers their questions in their native language. As per September 2026, 87% of trained participants had used AI Vyapar Mitra, and 95% were maintaining digital business accounts on an ongoing basis.
Bihar Livestock-oriented enterprises made up about 60% of the total enterprises under the broader program in the same blocks. The project has involved the creation of retail stores, food and service enterprises run by women.
The PEHEL program in Punjab shows how a combination of credit and business development services enhances entrepreneurship development. Loan disbursement per month has increased from four to 25 per block. There is also an increase in the number of first-time entrepreneurs by about 30%, as now their number has increased from 15% to 45%.
The Planning Department of Uttar Pradesh for the Zero Poverty Program is aimed at linking poverty alleviation of households with entrepreneurship. The program intends to serve 1 lakh households within a span of three years. Apart from this, the model can also be extended to cover 12.36 lakh Zero Poverty households as identified.
The partnership program of Haryana with Haryana State Rural Livelihoods Mission aims to reach 1,200 women entrepreneurs in a span of three years. The initiative involves financial assistance, AI-enabled business planning, personal advisory service, and trained field support.
The overall Leap 300 program has already achieved a graduation rate of 90% and income increase of 3-4 times in general. Moreover, the growing involvement of governments provides a great chance for the replication of this approach in rural India.
With the help of AI-based business intelligence and personalized advice, the ultimate goal is not just livelihood improvement but establishing strong women-led businesses that will bring stable incomes. Impacts cover business diversification, faster enterprise creation, efficient use of credit, and wider scope of program implementation.
