Jeep India Celebrates Indian Navy Women on Navy Wellness & Welfare Association's Foundation Day

By: WE Staff | Tuesday, 14 February 2023

On Navy Wellness & Welfare Association's foundation day, popularly known as Nawwa Divas, Jeep India, in partnership with the Indian Navy, flagged off an all-women expedition named "She's Unstoppable" in honour of women heroes in the Indian Navy and its fraternity. Admiral R. Hari Kumar, the Chief of the Naval Staff, virtually announced the incident.

This unique gathering will highlight female military officers, sailors, and spouses who are successful in all spheres of life. Women who have made a difference while serving in the Indian Navy and have emerged as role models for the military community will also attend the event.

Head of Jeep Brand India Nipun J. Mahajan commented on this daring journey, saying, "As a brand, we firmly believe in female rights and equitable participation in every aspect of life, so we see it as an honour to remain with Indian Navy on this fantastic venture to undertake an all-women expedition. Jeep's motto of "Go Anywhere, Do Anything" resonates strongly with these Unbeatable Women who have made experience and passion a way of life and have inspired hundreds, if not millions, of other women to tread where few have gone before. This motto extends beyond our vehicles."

The President NWWA and supporters would visit old age homes, orphanages, schools for special needs kids, and veteran families as part of outreach programmes during the rally. The female officers would organize campaigns to inform people about the career prospects the Indian Navy provides.
