President Draupadi Murmu presented with ODOPs at Civic Reception in Lucknow

A civic event was held on Sunday in the Lok Bhavan auditorium to mark President Draupadi Murmu's arrival in Lucknow. The President was welcomed by the representatives who presented her gifts from ODOP, also called One District-One Product. President Draupadi was also felicitated by Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on behalf of the state’s 25 crore people.
She addressed the residents about women’s empowerment and self-reliance to be implemented in the state and also mentioned the women personalities of Uttar Pradesh as her role models. The city is a part of the 'Kosala' district which is linked to Lord Shri Ram. She also praised former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna late Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
The religious spots and places were described by President Draupadi Murmu at the civic reception mentioning India's spiritual strength of the holy rivers flowing through Uttar Pradesh like Kashi, Ayodhya, Mathura, Sarnath, Gorakhpur, and Magahar
The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath and Governor Anandiben Patel also showed their gratitude and welcomed the President.
At the award ceremony, two deputy chief ministers of the state, Brajesh Pathak and Keshav Prasad Maurya, Vidhansabha Speaker Satish Mahana, Union Minister Kaushal Kishore, as well as Kunwar Manvendra Singh, Suresh Khanna, and all of the ministers were present.
