Letsryde, pioneering women-focused motorcycle academy, reached a milestone by spearheading India’s first all-women completion of Thailand’s renowned Mae Hong Son Loop. The eight-day expedition included eight Indian women riders aged 40-56, reflecting the growing scale and confidence of India’s women motorcycle ecosystem. All eight participating women riders successfully completed the circuit, demonstrating a powerful reflection of freedom and identity for aspiring women riders.

In collaboration with Delhi-based expedition company Viktorianz, the enthusiastic riders covered a journey that spanned 1,200 kilometres through Northern Thailand’s challenging mountain roads, featuring 4,066 curves and 1,864 hairpin bends.

In an endeavour to make motorcycling more inclusive, Letsryde became India’s first motorcycle training academy exclusively for women. The academy provides professional training and is helpful in creating a purpose-driven community creating a genuine sense of belonging for women riders across the country.

Based in Noida, the platform has trained upwards of 8,000 women and continues to scale its presence with expansion into Gurugram. With routes extending beyond the nation to global riding circuits, it also combines professional training with experiential travel tailored to cater to the rising aspirations of independent women riders.

For decades India’s motorcycle culture revolved solely around men, leaving little to no space for women, not by capability, but by lack of access and opportunity. While scooters became socially acceptable for women, women riding the motorcycles became a symbol of freedom and breaking the societal traditional norms.
