Ilse Roeffen Takes Charge as Swarovski's President for Europe

Ilse Roeffen has been promoted to the role of President Europe for the Swarovski company. The company will benefit from this promotion because this will help improve Swarovski's luxury position on a global scale and will support their regional growth strategy. Ilse's career within Swarovski has included two major roles: working as an interim Chief Commercial Officer, and completing a strategic feed to leadership in Greater China.

Ilse expressed appreciation to the Commercial Leadership and General Managers for working together to achieve this milestone. Ilse has over 20 years of experience with SWAROVSKI. She has had a successful long-term career, and an extensive background of transformation initiatives.

In her previous role, Ilse was the Head of Emerging Markets & Businesses and created a vision for sustainable and long-term growth of global regions; Asia, Latin America, and Middle East while leading an international team consisting of over 2,500 people.

Also, she served as the interim Chief Commercial Officer overseeing SWAROVSKI's global commercial strategy within 150+ countries managing the most significant functional areas of business retail, marketing, sales, digital, and omnichannel through a workforce of over 9,000 SWAROVSKI employees globally.

Prior to joining the company, Ilse had served as EVP Market Management and Senior VP Omnichannel and Commercial Management where she drove customer centric and digital transformation strategies to build omnichannel best practice to help strengthen the company’s position as a global luxury brand. Ilse was also responsible for leading the development and implementation of large scale global business transformation programs and designing operating models to create organizational effectiveness.

Ilse has extensive experience in the luxury retail sector and with her extensive knowledge of the luxury retail industry, international markets and customer experience transformations, she is well qualified to take the European business to its next level of growth.
