ICC Women T20 World Cup 2024 India qualifies among the eight teams

Eight teams have been automatically selected for the ninth Women's T20 World Cup which is going to be held in 2024 in Bangladesh. The statement released by the International Cricket Council (ICC) about the automatic selection of the Indian women's team in the eight qualifying teams, the rest two teams will be selected after the global qualifier round
The teams which have been automatically selected for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup are Bangladesh and Pakistan who were ranked as highest outside in the top size qualifiers while Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa qualified from Group 1 and from Group 2 England, India, and the West Indies were selected.
The Sri Lankan team and team Ireland have somehow failed to meet the qualifications and presently they are ranked eighth and tenth respectively. They are the only participants from this year's tournament who have not been selected automatically for the T20 World Cup 2024.
