WPL Franchise UP Warriorz Signs Advertising Contract with Traveltech Firm EaseMytrip

EaseMytrip, a travel tech company signed the contract of advertisement of the Women's Premier League franchise UP Warriorz with Capri Global Holdings Private Limited.
The agreement has been signed for 5 year's which begins with the first season of the event this year. This event has been organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the inaugural event of WPL will start on 4 March 2023.
Viacom18 which is a subsidiary of Reliance Industries bought the media rights for the Women's Premier League for Rs. 951 crores for the next five years. During these five years, the broadcaster will pay a per-match fee of Rs. 7.09 crore. The organizations which were a part of the auction of the WPL franchises which was held last month paid a record amount of Rs. 4,669.99 crores. Adani Group, the Indian NBFC company Capri Global, Diageo India, Reliance, and collaboration between JSW and GMR are some of the companies which were involved in the auction.
The CEO and co-founder of EaseMytrip, Nishant Pitti stated that they represent a unique and maverick mindset. Nishant expressed joy to be involved n the inaugural season of the mega event WPL.
Rajesh Sharma, the MD of Capri Global Holdings Private Limited mentioned the undying support they will provide to women's cricket and make it a big success.
