It is essential to recognize and empower India's female population so they may take responsibility and contribute with all of their might as the country prepares to shine in its "techade" and realise its USD 40 trillion GDP dream. On March 3, 2023, in New Delhi, a one-day event will serve as the official launch of SheSparks 2023, a yearlong commitment to empowering, enabling, and encouraging women in the workforce.
SheSparks 2023 will take place on March 3, 2023, at the Indian Habitat Center in New Delhi. The event will bring together several accomplished and extraordinary women, including those who have made ground-breaking discoveries and who are encouraging and allowing others to enter the workforce, grow, and flourish.
“SheSparks is not just an event, it’s a movement for actionable change. It is a platform that is a call to action that is bringing together women who are not bogged down by the status quo and are committed to being and creating the spark of change. All of us at YourStory believe that for India to reach our collective dream of reaching a USD 40 trillion economy, women will play a critical role. And it will be women from different walks of life and from across the towns, cities, and villages of our country. SheSparks is a year-long commitment to change that we will renew and recommit each year, to mark a widespread impact.” Said the Founder and CEO of YourStory Media, Shradha Sharma.

According to a McKinsey Global Institute analysis, giving women equal chances would be the only way for India to increase its GDP by 770 billion dollars by 2025. SheSparks will honour women from all spheres of endeavor—startups, investors, journalism, entertainment, aviation, and social impact—and present their stories to inform and motivate others.
SheSparks will honour the most trailblazing female leaders and changemakers in the nation through the SheSparks Awards 2023, which will be given to 20 women across various categories such as politics, policymaking, business, entertainment, social impact, sports, and more. These awards will be given in addition to content, conversations, and networking.
Insightful workshops on building a sound retirement plan, creating gender-neutral products, and comprehending the ongoing AI revolution will also be offered at the event. Additionally, attendees will hear from trailblazers via SheTalks, a series of five succinct inspirational talks by new role models from various sectors of the country and walks of life.
