Haryana Womens Panel Chief Renu Bhatia Addresses Complaints in Panipat Public Hearing

- The Haryana State Commission for Women's chair, Renu Bhatia, hosted a public hearing at the Mini-Secretariat in Panipat
- During the hearing, 12 complaints pertaining to women's issues were discussed
- Police officers were instructed to look into the cases thoroughly and not to be careless
Renu Bhatia, the chairperson of the Haryana State Commission for Women, held a public hearing on Thursday at the Mini-Secretariat in Panipat to discuss 12 complaints pertaining to women's issues.
Renu reaffirmed the Commission's commitment to justice by telling reporters, "We take every complaint seriously and ensure a fair hearing for all." After hearing arguments from both sides in several cases, she gave the police orders to investigate the cases thoroughly and promptly. She also warned that negligence in matters concerning women would not be tolerated.
Lalita, Kavita, Santosh, Sabakhan, Dharmbir, Ombir, Ruksar, Shimla, Asha, and Shaina were among the people who lodged the complaints. In certain cases, Bhatia encouraged the complainants to settle their differences amicably and suggested reconciliation.
"We have been successful in obtaining justice for women in numerous instances, and we are still committed to doing so," she continued.
Later, she presided over a coordination meeting with municipal officials, Zila Parishad council members, and Mayor Komal Saini. She called on elected officials to continue to be watchful for child marriages in their neighborhoods and to educate girls, particularly those living in slums and attending school.
The elected members took an oath to stop child marriages under the direction of Rajni Gupta, the district's child marriage prohibition officer. Senior officials such as DSP Satish Vats, DSP (Traffic) Suresh Saini, and Dr. Kiran Chaudhary (CEO, Zila Parishad) also attended the meeting.
