Gujarat Technological University (GTU) reported that its Vice Chancellor, Dr. Rajul Gajjar, has been selected as an Advisory Member of the G100 Global Advisory Council for her leadership and professional achievements.

The G100 is an international network of 100 women leaders who are both an action group and a think tank, striving to advance equality, inclusion, and advancement of women across the globe.

The organization unites such powerful personalities as Nobel winners, heads of states, and CEOs, and has 100 chapters worldwide, which are headed by a Global Chair.

The chapters provide a platform to advocate and collaborate together with the sole purpose of ending the gender gap this decade.

The nomination of Dr. Gajjar honors her contributions to higher education leadership, engineering education, research, and innovation, as well as her dedication to developing future leaders.

Dr. Rajul will offer strategic advice on the initiatives of the G100 and make recommendations to policymakers, corporations, and global organizations such as the UN, EU, and G20.

This award recognizes not only Dr. Rajul's professional success but also GTU's increased profile on the international scene, solidifying the university's position in cultivating leaders and encouraging inclusiveness and equity.

Her appointment should further motivate students and faculty alike and solidify GTU's mission to create positive change.
