Geetika Saigal Launches India's First Invite-Only Think Forum
By: Women Entrepreneurs Review Team | Friday, 26 June 2026
Building on her legacy as a leader in thought publishing, Geetika Saigal, one of India’s most recognized personalities on the subject of authority and publishing has initiated “The Sabha.”, India’s first invitation-only intellectual discussion forum based around a single question.
The idea stemmed out of a need more than an audacious vision. After several years interacting with CXOs, entrepreneurs, doctors, and top-level professionals, Geetika saw a recurring theme. Expert individuals kept attending the conferences, panels, and meetups but would end up feeling disappointed in the process. The reason for their disappointment was not the quality of the people attending, but the format of the conversations that lacked engaging questions.
The Indian event space is filled with possibilities of professional engagement. These events play a pivotal role in fostering ideas, building relationships, and sharing knowledge. However, by their very nature, such platforms emphasize results rather than the process, leaving little room for examining a big question before knowing the answer.
With the rise of India’s knowledge economy, there is a unique void that exists even today. India will have the world’s largest working age population by 2030, and the events sector is flourishing here. However, India still does not have an event venue that revolves around a single question without pre-planned agendas and presentations.
Key Highlights:
- Geetika Saigal launches The Sabha, India's first invite-only intellectual forum
- The forum redefines networking with question-led, agenda-free discussions
- Two editions completed as The Sabha builds a long-term intellectual institution
The major economies of the world have created their respective platforms that have set standards for intellectual leadership. However, India has still not managed to build a forum where its leading thinkers discuss an unanswered question without panel discussions and pre-decided agendas.
With The Sabha, Geetika makes the most important institutional commitment of her career to date by developing a forum that addresses this long-standing need for intellectual discussion.
The first edition of The Sabha was conducted on 22nd March 2026 at Titlewaves Bookstore in Bandra, Mumbai. The theme was “Is it possible for humanity to grow up as quickly as it grows?” This event was attended by several authors and co-authors. The event also answered queries that patients are usually too shy to ask their doctors in clinics.
With the momentum from its first edition, The Sabha came back on 23 May 2026 with the theme for the evening "We built systems that don’t need people. Did we forget that people need people?" . The audience was totally engrossed during the entire session without any distractions. An impromptu musical performance showed that creating an environment which facilitates conversation is one such institutional strength that cannot be replicated by moving to a bigger place or choosing a bigger speaker.
Both these editions lasted three hours. The planning for The Sabha 3 has already begun.
The Sabha is India’s first ever invitation-based intellectual forum that was set up to create meaningful interactions beyond the confines of conventional conference forums and networking sessions. Each edition of the Sabha focuses on one curated question at a time. This initiative caters to experienced individuals who place more importance on intellectual exchange rather than mere networking.
As the Founder of Beeja House, Geetika Saigal is a seven-time TEDx speaker and four-time bestselling author. Her work has been recognised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, blessed by H.H. the Dalai Lama, and endorsed and appreciated by prominent leaders from India's business, cultural, and public spheres.
