Former Indian skipper Pritam Rani Siwach praises Hockey India's commendable effort, the National Women's Hockey League 2024-25, and highlights the significance of aspiring young talents to become a part of the national team. Young female players can showcase their talent and techniques during the league, paving their way to the Indian national team.

Pritam has produced phenomenal talents such as Neha, Sharmila Devi, Nisha Warsi, and Jyoti providing them with training in the Pritam Siwach Hockey Academy in Sonipat. She further states that coaches will be able to enhance the game by identifying the areas for improvement of the players. She said, "Through this, the players will also get to know what areas they need to work on and how they can know their competitors, also how they can work on them, train them and refine their game."

The appropriate place to showcase their skill and potential, the players have been provided the prestigious platform of the National Women's Hockey League which is India's first domestic women's hockey league. The initial phase will commence on 30 April 2024 and end on 9 May 2024 in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The tournament will be organized at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Astroturf Hockey Stadium. 8 teams will participate during the event that just concluded the 14th Hockey India Senior Women National Championship 2024 in Pune. These teams are the Hockey Association of Odisha, Hockey Haryana, Hovkey Maharashtra, Hockey Jharkhand, Hockey Madhya Pradesh, Hockey Bengal, Hockey Mizoram, and Manipur Hockey.

Pritam, who is also a Dronacharya Awardee confidently believes India's Senior Men's Team will be a part of the Paris Olympics as it has talented players capable of winning matches, despite a tricky pool. She hopes the team will qualify for the test and win a Gold for the country.
