Dr. Srimathy Kesan, along with Space Kidz India, has extended an invitation to the world at large in the form of a collaborative effort towards a new endeavour. The endeavour will include more than 12,000 girls from 108 different nations in order to empower them through knowledge and skills in space technologies, innovation, and leadership.

This two day event will start on August 28, 2026, with Global Women Leadership & Diplomacy Summit, gathering many renowned personalities from the domains of space entrepreneurships, governance, diplomacy, leadership, and international cooperation.

As part of the celebratory event on 29 August 2026, Mission ShakthiSAT will debut the world's first ever "Space Meets Fashion" program that is designed to bring together the worlds of aerospace, sustainability, creativity, and cultural and innovative development into one unique concept of space fashion.

Key Highlights:

  • Mission ShakthiSAT unites 12,000 girls from 108 countries through space, leadership and innovation
  • Global Integration Week 2026 will convene world leaders, scientists and young changemakers
  • World’s first ‘Space Meets Fashion’ showcase to blend aerospace, creativity and sustainability

Mission ShakthiSAT Global Integration Week from 28 to 29 August, 2026, will gather together leaders from all around the world, diplomats, scientists, educators, innovators, entrepreneurs, and young change-makers.

This mission seeks to promote interdisciplinary among scientists and artists by combining creativity and knowledge for the inspiration of the next generation. The mission will be working with internationally renowned scientific partners such as Macquarie University, Shamaal Space, University of South Alabama, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Egyptian Space Agency, and SMW Engineering.

With the inspiration for “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – The World Is One Family,” Mission ShakthiSAT is a prime example of what is possible through global cooperation towards determining the future of space exploration.

Mission ShakthiSAT is more than just a space mission because it transforms into an international movement dedicated to promoting leadership, education, innovation, sustainability, women empowerment, and international collaboration.

Mission ShakthiSAT invites collaborations with other governments, universities, companies, charitable organizations, CSR partners, media channels, and international organizations who believe in making a difference using scientific and space collaborations.
