AI-powered water infrastructure platform DigitalPaani has raised Rs 22 crore in a funding round led by Navam Capital. The round also saw participation from Enzia Ventures, Chakra Growth Capital, 3one4 Capital, Momentum Capital, Achieving Women Entrepreneurs Early Growth Fund, and Echo River Capital.

The company plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its presence in the industrial and municipal sectors, expand operations, and support its growing institutional customer base. The funds will also help DigitalPaani begin its international expansion.

Founded in 2020 by Mansi Jain and Rajesh Jain, DigitalPaani offers an operating system for water and wastewater infrastructure. Its platform combines AI-powered insights and real-time asset monitoring to help utilities, municipalities, and enterprises improve water recycling, reduce operational losses, and prevent equipment failures.

Key Highlights:

  • DigitalPaani raised Rs 22 crore, led by Navam Capital
  • Funds will support market expansion, operations and international growth
  • The company serves 95+ facilities, treating over 150 million litres of water daily

The Gurugram-based firm says that its platform can analyse real-time operational data by comparing it with the design of how each asset is supposed to be used, pinpoint inefficiencies, and automate tasks connected to the equipment, maintenance, teams and stock.

DigitalPaani has been serving more than 95 facilities with treating more than 150 million litres of water every day, it said. It serves various clients like Britannia, Leela Hotels, Tata Group and Delhi Jal Board. Its deployments have enabled the company to transform assets that were not compliant into fully operational assets and have provided up to 25% of cost savings, it said. It has increased in revenue by almost six times in the last two years.

Another startup in the infrastructure digitization field is Ubiqedge. It also raised Rs. 10 crore in a seed round led by Piper Serica in April this year to scale up its AIoT platform for infrastructure such as water systems. The firm said that over 23,000 borewells have been digitized with its technology.

On the other hand, Solinas Integrity, which was incubated at the IIT Madras, raised $5.5 million in August in a Series A1 funding round led by Mela Ventures and Hero Enterprise Family Office. The company is addressing the issue of water through robotics and AI technology to check, clean and digitize water, wastewater and sanitation systems below ground.

“When we started DigitalPaani, we knew the problem was massive — but the opportunity was bigger,” said Mansi Jain, CEO and co-founder of DigitalPaani. “This funding validates that intelligent infrastructure management is not a luxury — it's essential.”

Anjan Ray, Investment Partner at Navam Capital, said “DigitalPaani’s track record with marquee customers and domain expertise positions it to become an operating system for water infrastructure across India and beyond.”
