Dhanvesttor, a boutique wealth management platform that works exclusively with women, has unveiled a plan to create financial knowledge and training for 1 lakh women by FY2028.

The scheme has set a target to reach women from varied backgrounds, from students to ultra-high net-worth individuals (UHNIs).

The platform has already organized workshops on rudimentary saving and budgeting for schoolgirls and investment principles for women entrepreneurs.

In a press release, Anooshka Soham Bathwal, CEO and Founder of Dhanvesttor, said that a lot of women in India, even those who are wealthy, have traditionally been kept away from financial discussions or made to feel that money matters are not their domain.

She added that making the goal of educating one lakh women by FY2028 a larger initiative of financial inclusion and literacy is what it is all about.

As per Anooshka, every workshop, discussion, and portfolio providing is meant to enable women to gain confidence, clarity, and control over their finances, be it a schoolgirl who is learning to save, a professional who is seeking investment options, or an ultra-HNI woman opting for a women-specific platform for wealth management.

Anooshka is also known to shatter gender stereotypes, and building women's empowerment as a social cause in patriarchal India naturally comes to her. A 'social entrepreneur' is individually experienced in the finance sector.

Her platform's aim is to empower women to become masters of their own financial destiny through not just optimizing their wealth potential but also end-to-end grooming them to be financially comfortable and financially self-assured.

In an interview with the Women Entrepreneur India team, Anooshka said, “In my experience with Dhanvesttor, I've learned that several key factors hold women back from mastering personal finance. The biggest one is mindset. Many women believe finance is complicated and inherently difficult, creating a mental barrier. This mindset can often lead to imposter syndrome, where women feel they can't handle financial matters. If there's a shift in mindset, women can start taking charge of their finances.”

Dhanvesttor’s goal to educated women about finance will create a mindset shift among them and help them gain confidence in handling finance.
