Women Leaders Strengthening India's Wealth Management Sector

The Indian wealth management industry has been on an upswing lately. According to the recent reports, the wealth management market was evaluated to be $475.9 billion in 2020. The industry grew at a CAGR of 4.8 percent since 2015. Going forward the industry is projected to become a $730.7 billion size market by 2025, growing at a CAGR of nine percent.

However, the predictions do not end here, but indicate how this dynamic industry will grow further at a CAGR of 8.8 percent from 2025 and reach $1,116.1 billion in 2030.

With growth, the industry has also seen several talented leaders rising up. The Indian wealth management sector has also seen a rise in the number of women leaders. The space is inclusive and promotes women to build strong and fruitful careers for themselves.

The Women Entrepreneur India team brings to you a list of some of the most prolific women leader from the Indian wealth management space. In this issue we introduce you to Shilpa Jain, Director, RAH Consultancy. Having an BLS LLB from Government Law College, Mumbai, including Company Secretaryship, Shilpa is leveraging her unique experiences and strategic financial skills inculcated over time to serve clients, through a blend of human advisory and digital advancements, on financial subjects and investments regarding insurance cases.

Next up is Sreepriya NS, Director and COO, Entrust Family Office. Sreepriya NS embarked on her career path in 1997, graduating with a double major in Physics and Computer Science. Her commitment to lifelong learning led her to further her education, culminating in a Management Program in Finance and Strategy from IIM Kozhikode, a testament to her dedication to upskilling and staying at the forefront of her field. She is a seasoned banking professional with a remarkable journey that spans over two decades, primarily within the prestigious ICICI Bank.

Saloni Parikh, CEO, Finance Monitor is another woman leader featured in the magazine issue. Saloni is a Chartered Accountant and has completed her Master's in International Management, London with over 8 years of experience in Equity Markets, Financial Planning, and Wealth Management. She has been actively involved in Research, Advisory, and Business Development at Finance Monitor (India) Private Limited.

She is joined by Viral Trivedi, Director, FundFox Wealth. Viral's educational foundation is built on a postgraduate degree in Finance from the prestigious Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics. In her multifaceted role at FundFox Wealth Pvt. Ltd., Viral shoulders a spectrum of responsibilities that reflect her profound commitment to her clients and the financial industry as a whole. Her expertise spans client-centric financial solutions, and fundamental research.

Also meet Hina Kamra, a woman leader with 28+ years of experience spanning diverse sectors in BFSI. Currently, a Managing Director at Neo Wealth Management, she is an inspiration to other aspiring women. She is known for her inclusive leadership and a very principled and ethical approach in building businesses.

Ritu J Jhunjhunwala, Founder, R Dhan Financial Services also joins the coveted list. She is a seasoned wealth management expert dedicated to empowering individuals, especially women and young adults, with financial knowledge and guiding them toward a secure financial future through her firm, R-Dhan.
