Dalmia Bharat Foundation & Red Carpet Institute to Train 300 Women in Eastern India

- The program intends to train 300 women in Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Assam
- It is a component of DBF's skill-development-focused DIKSHa program
In order to skill 300 women in the states of Assam, West Bengal, and Jharkhand, the Dalmia Bharat Foundation (DBF) is launching a new program in collaboration with Red Carpet Learning Institute. The program, which falls under DBF's DIKSHa program, aims to equip women with the job skills they need to land long-term jobs as two-wheeler service assistants, automotive showroom hosts, and tele-callers.
Women who are 18 years of age or older and have completed at least Class 10 education are eligible to enroll in the training, which is set to begin in August 2025. A starting salary of about ₹10,000 per month will be given to trainees.
Ashok Kumar Gupta, DBF's CEO, stressed the company's belief in creating an inclusive and competent workforce. He added that the collaboration with Red Carpet illustrates their mutual aspiration for enabling women to have meaningful careers and positively contribute to society through practical training. Bitan Roy, Red Carpet's Partner, showed eagerness in facilitating women's entry into India's growing automotive industry.
In accordance with the standards of the Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC), training facilities will be furnished with cutting-edge classrooms, labs, and projectors. Both an online and a final physical test are part of the progra
