Bangana Block Development in Una to Support 800 Women SHG Members

The Bangana block development office is currently working to create economic opportunities for 800 women in the region through the self-help groups that the H.P. State Rural Livelihood Mission is supporting for the current year.

On Thursday, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at KL Verma's office, who is the Block Development Officer for the Gobind Sagar Block Level Federation. This MoU is part of the M3M Foundation's 'Payal@40' initiative.

KL Verma stated that this project aims to provide women in the area with structured training and capacity building in order to create economic opportunities for themselves through the Rural Livelihood Centre, which will serve as the starting point for their kind of activities.

M3M Foundation representative Dr Aishwarya Mahajan stated that, "The M3M Foundation aims to establish strong roots at the community level, enabling women to receive vocational training to prepare them for jobs and participate in economic activities in their communities, while also contributing to the development of their communities."
