ASGN (NYSE: ASGN), which provides a variety of information technology (IT) solutions to both commercial and government clients worldwide and has announced it will be changing its name from ASGN to Everforth shortly, has named Sangita Singh as its new president responsible for the India and International markets. This new position will help to accelerate ASGN's global growth strategy by building ASGN's offshore delivery and digital engineering capabilities.

Sangita's appointment follows ASGN's announcement that it will be acquiring Quinnox, a digital solutions company with an established presence in India.

The creation of this position and the acquisition of Quinnox are evidence of ASGN's continuing commitment to developing a strong global delivery platform that can fulfill the needs of the increasing complexity of client needs that result from advances in technology.

According to Ted Hansen, CEO of ASGN, "Sangita has had a strong record as a transformational leader and has demonstrated the ability to successfully develop and grow global technology organizations, especially in India.

I cannot think of anyone more qualified to assume leadership of our growing global delivery strategy as we complete the next phase of growing ASGN's business than her.

Strong values, significant experience working internationally, and proven leadership skills, along with her extensive knowledge of the industry, make her the perfect candidate for this position. Her appointment illustrates our commitment to continue to invest in long-term global delivery strategies and create an opportunity for sustainable, profitable growth."

Singh has more than 30 years of experience in leading growth and innovation efforts at top technology and consulting companies. Most recently, she was the General Manager of IT and IT Enabled Services at Microsoft India, where she led growth efforts in AI partnerships and complex deal execution.

Prior to that, she has held senior leadership positions at IBM, Infosys, and Wipro, where she developed and led multi-billion-dollar businesses and global teams in areas such as AI, cloud, enterprise applications, and industry solutions in healthcare and life sciences.

Sangita is a well-respected leader in the Indian technology industry and has been ranked as one of Business Today’s 30 Most Powerful Women. She has also been recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and listed in India Today’s 50 on Fast Track.

In her new capacity, Singh will set up go-to-market operations in India to support the growth of capability centers globally and accelerate the expansion of ASGN’s business in India.

She will also be responsible for global expansion, working with the leadership of the Commercial Segment at ASGN to improve offshore delivery, and strengthening the company’s capacity to deliver large, complex projects for global clients.
