Alia Bhatt to Don Producer Hat as She Launches New Production House 'Eternal Sunshine'

Ace actor, Alia Bhatt has announced the launch of her production house, Eternal Sunshine.

"And I am so happy to announce... PRODUCTION!!" a post on Alia Bhatt instagram page said. ‘Eternal Sunshine, Let us tell you tales. Happy Tales. Warm and fuzzy tales. Real tales. Timesless tales,” said the post. She also shared a Logo of the production house that features cats holding a balloon, signifying Alia’s love for pets. The news about Alia's production house has been doing rounds since 2019 and it is official now.

Alia Bhatt is an Actress, Singer, and a model with twelve successful movies to her credit. Her career in Bollywood began in the year 2012.  She has made waves with her performance in many films and now has made the decision of starting her own production company. Though she is a well established and successful person she always wanted a label of her own which made her start a new company.

Alia took the entrepreneurial route last year when she launched her sustainable kids' wear brand Ed-a-Mamma in October 2020. Alia said,"I wanted to start my own label. When you become semi-successful, you start looking back to see if you can start something of your own. I was interested in clothes and fashion, and when I looked deeper, I realized there was no dearth of clothes or fashion labels for people in the age group of 25 to 45 years. The competition, in fact, is high.”

She is also an investor in Stylecracker and Nykaa.

The new production house announced its first project Darlings in association with Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment. The production is set to star Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma, and Roshan Mathew.

Beside her business ventures Alia is busy with film shootings too as several movies have lined up for shoots and releases. She also has two big budget, ambitious projects coming up, namely SS Rajamouli’s RRR and Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra that will have her pairing up with Ranbir Kapoor.
