Yuva Samvad Event addressed by Union Minister for Women & Child Smriti Irani

An event Yuva Samvad was hosted by MP Tejasvi Surya at Bengaluru where Union Minister for Women & Child, Mrs. Smriti Zubin Irani was present to address the people. Smriti stated that no one in the nation is above the law and that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been declared guilty by the court. She even claimed that the opposition is framing Rahul Gandhi has been disqualified by the Government.

The statement by Rahul Gandhi at an event disrespected the sentiments of the entire OBC community, and the court has taken into notice about this issue under defamation law. She further added that the accused has not been defended or Rahul Gandhi assumes that he is above the law.

Rahul Gandhi has also been dismissed from the Lok Sabha as decided by the court, mentioned by her. While addressing, Smriti also opened up about the statements given by Rahul Gandhi, who had earlier lied in abroad that the Indian Universities doesn't invite him. She inquired as to whether Rahul Gandhi had visited any Indian University earlier or whether the government has forbidden him to interact with the students. She questioned Indian voters about their opinion of Rahul Gandhi's statement abroad that democracy is over in India.

Smriti lastly added about the current ruling government that, there were several projects planned after Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the charge in 2014. An estimated amount of 9000 crore rupees was planned for the welfare of women in society. Anti-Human trafficking teams and One Stop Crisis centers have been established first time in the nation. These centers provided short-term help, medical facilities, and legal assistance. 1063 fast-track courts are set up throughout the country for rape and sexual assault.
