Kapoor also highlighted the need for mental preparation in dealing with unpleasant situations effectively.

Women's safety in India remains a grave issue despite continuous efforts to enhance the situation. Thousands of cases of violence are reported annually, but numerous others remain unspoken because of fear and stigma. Far too many women are abused in their homes, and acid attacks disfigure them for life.
Young girls continue to be married off prematurely, jeopardizing their futures. Also targeted by trafficking are numerous women and girls. To add to that, access to justice is in many cases a hard and lengthy process, with inadequate assistance to see them through it. All these indicate just how much of a need there is to make spaces safer, educate, and provide better systems for the protection and empowerment of women nationwide.
