The World Bank Group and the Australian government strengthen their long partnership with a general agenda of inclusive development in Southern Asia, with the economic empowerment of women at the center of a common vision for sustainable development.
For the World Bank, it is not only about unlocking opportunities for women, but also recruit women traders/leaders in business, skills and infrastructure programs.
Similarly, Australia's new sex strategy placed women empowerment at the center of their foreign policy, development, human and commercial agendas.
This general agenda led two high profile collaborative projects: South Asia Regional Trade Facility Program (SARTFP) and South Asia Regional infrastructure (SARIC) connectivity.
Both projects focus on research, government activities and pilot activities that expand the participation of women in cross -sectional trade, entrepreneurship and skill development training.
The World Bank group and the Australian government are improving their partnership in southern Asia to increase inclusive growth, with a special focus on women's economic empowerment.
Both employees perceive women's contribution as centers for sustainable development and are working together for conventional women in commerce, entrepreneurship, skill training and infrastructure initiatives.
Together, they intend to create opportunities that not only improve regional economies, but also ensure women's participation in innovation and growth factors.
