Women to Become Key Players in Upcoming Lok Sabha Election, urges Tripura CM

Manik Saha, the Chief Minister of Tripura, urged women of the state to become Key players in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections to increase the chances of winning both the seats for BJP.
The Pradesh BJP Mahila Morcha conducted the "Vidushi Mahila Sanmelan" to honor Narendra Modi's nine years in office which was attended by the Chief Minister. He even emphasized the PM's tireless efforts made to implement welfare measures to improve the socio-economic status of women in the nation during his speech at the event.
CM Manik Saha added that the state government prioritizes the welfare of women by reserving 33 per cent of government jobs for them. In addition to this, Tripura has witnessed a notable increase in the number of self-help groups, going from 4,100 in 2018 to 39,672 in 2023. In the state, this development had shown a positive impact on about 354,000 women.
Over 26,558 self-help groups have received funding from the Community Investment Fund with an amount of Rs. 237.86 crores, while over 18,448 self-help groups have received funding from a revolving fund of Rs. 21.13 crore. The Chief Minister emphasized that free education for women has been guaranteed in all colleges and also ensured their high-quality education.
The CM also acknowledged the work done by PM Modi towards the change in the welfare system in the country. He added that the PM has led several initiatives for the welfare of the citizens of India since 2014. In the past nine years, 390 universities have been established and added to the 723 universities across the country.
