The Jan Bhagidari (Citizens' Connect) event was held in Mahabalipuram by Women 20, the G20's official engagement group on Wednesday. The summit, with the theme "Women-Led Development- Transform, Thrive, and Transcend," will take place on Friday.
The National Rural Livelihood Mission, the Tamil Nadu Department of Rural Development, and the Central Ministry of Rural Development, all three of them will provide support to the citizen connect event with the theme "The Journey of Empowerment." The delegates listened to the stories of women from all over the nation during the event.
India's dedication to Women-led Development and the policies that provide emphasis on women's financial literacy, digital literacy, healthcare, and sanitation were all highlighted by Bansuri Swaraj, a Supreme Court Advocate during the event.
The Development of Rural Development will support the grassroots entrepreneur exhibition of Tamil Nadu during the summit. The exhibition will also include displays from W20 Indonesia and W20 Argentina.
The W20 Communique 2023 will be soon released which will offer the G20 leaders some recommendations that need to be included in the G20 Leader's Declaration.
