On its 9th convocation, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Nagpur marked a double milestone in gender diversity and placement achievements. Among the 267 regular MBA graduates from the 2023–25 batch, 46 percent were women, up 3 percent from the last batch.
This is IIM-N's consistent pledge toward creating an inclusive and fair environment in management learning. The institute achieved 100 percent placements for the batch, with prominent recruiters like Microsoft, Amazon, BNP Paribas, Vedanta, Accenture, and Deloitte conducting the recruitment process. Interestingly, three students were offered record-breaking salary offers, while four were placed internationally.
The highest salary offer at the final placement was ₹69.57 LPA and the highest summer intern stipend was ₹2.70 lakh. The median salary was ₹18.07 LPA, with a median internship stipend of ₹89,856. A total of 329 students graduated, of which 267 were from the regular MBA program, 35 from the Executive MBA at the Pune campus, and 27 from the Nagpur campus.
Director Bhimaraya Metri attributed the success to the hard work of the Career Development Services team and the Student Placement Committee and mentioned that 89 new recruiters participated in the final placement process and 98 for internships. Chairman CP Gurnani emphasized the institute's growth over its 10-year journey and declared plans to expand infrastructure.
IIM Nagpur also plans to partner with the Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL). Puneet Chhatwal, MD and CEO of IHCL and chief guest of the event, urged graduates to lead with purpose and pointed out that success is an automatic byproduct of a purposeful mindset. 62 Executive MBA students also graduated at the ceremony.
