Women's Empowerment Dialogue Held by Jeevika Team in Bihar's Samata & Amani Village

For the women's empowerment of the block area, the Jeevika Mansi team conducted women's dialogues in two shifts: the first shift at Samata Village Sangathan, Balha and the second shift at Naya Saamra Village Organization, Amani.

The program was launched by Vimal Kumar Singh, District Public Grievance Redressal Officer, and Block Development Officer Rajiv Kumar, Shyam Kumar (Block Statistics cum Education Officer), Rajiv Kumar Ranjan (Block Welfare Officer), Ghanshyam Deenbandhu (Block Project Manager), and Jeevika Didi. Throughout the conversation, it was highlighted that the campaign is focused on empowering women, urging Jeevika Didi to take the lead as a non-livelihood sister in the household.

It would lead to the development of the overall community, village, and state as an example for other states. The conversation identified how women can lead economic and social development from home to home. The organizing committee, under the leadership of Ravi Ranjan Kumar and Kumari Pooja Rani, reported that through collective support, all the Didis were empowered.

The activity also had representation from some local leaders such as Anganwadi workers, female teachers, women ward members, students, office assistant Sanjeev Kumar, and data operator Avinash Ranjan, who all contributed to the success of the conversation.
