In a virtual address, Rural Development Secretary Shailesh Kumar Singh stated that, with its strong network of SHGs, Rajasthan could be a model for NRLM 2.0.
He observed that using the She-LiFE initiative to commercialize women as "Agri-LivPreneurs" would help further rural entrepreneurship in agriculture and livestock.
Arguments were made by experts, entrepreneurs, bankers, and SHG members from all over the country on climate smart value chains, inclusive finance, and leadership in rural livelihoods.
In the session titled “Beyond Credit – Innovative Financial Architecture“, increasing financial access for women entrepreneurs was discussed through digital and alternative funding approaches.
Another session, “She-LiFE: Women-led Agriculture and Livestock Entrepreneurship, “had successful women share experiences on how training and collaboration helped them achieve self-reliance.
The conference will end on Thursday with policy recommendations aimed at promoting rural women's entrepreneurship.
