Yashashree Chandak Shines: Receives Coveted Adobe India Women in Tech Scholarship

Yashashree Chandak, an intern at IIIT-Hyderabad, has been honoured with the esteemed Adobe India Women in Tech Scholarship 2023. This scholarship recognizes the exceptional abilities of female undergraduate and master's students studying Computer Science and provides them with a unique opportunity to "learn, build, and grow" in their field.
Yashashree Chandak, currently pursuing her studies at the Pune Institute of Computer Technology, was selected as one of the six recipients of this prestigious scholarship. Her participation in the Summer Research Internship on Technological Innovations (SRISHTI) program at iHub-Dat, which is a technology innovation hub funded by the Department of Science and Technology, played a significant role in her achievement.
The Adobe India Women in Tech Scholarship is designed to support and empower talented women in the field of Computer Science. It covers the recipient's tuition fees for the entirety of their university education, opening up new avenues for their academic and professional growth. Additionally, the scholarship provides the opportunity to interview for an internship position at Adobe India, ensuring practical exposure to the industry. The recipients also benefit from mentorship by a senior technology leader, allowing them to gain valuable insights and guidance from experienced professionals. Furthermore, they receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the Grace Hopper Conference India, a renowned event celebrating women in technology.
