Shilpa Shetty joins Hunar Online Courses, a skill-building platform with a community of over 20 lakh women, as a partner and investor. Through improved skilling and entrepreneurship options for Indian women, the actress aspires to realize her vision of financial independence for one lakh women by the following year.
Shilpa Shetty-Kundra stated, "Empowering the women of India with skills to become financially independent has always been a dream for me." She was speaking about her partnership with Hunar. As an independent woman, I believe that financial independence and having a personal source of income are important for the woman, her family, and the country. When I attended the Hunar Fashion Show as a Chief Guest, I saw first-hand the impact that Hunar’s team was creating, and I wanted to join them as an investor and a brand ambassador.”
"India has the ability to grow its GDP enormously when India's women are given the ideal platform to learn, grow, and make an income," stated Nishtha Yogesh, Founder and CEO of Hunar Online Courses. Women want to be self-sufficient in their finances and have their abilities valued, but they do not have easy access to possibilities for education or employment.
