Wipro Appoints Priya Jha Choudhary as AI Native Business CHRO

Wipro has appointed Priya Jha Choudhary as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for its AI Native Business and Platforms Unit, reinforcing its commitment to building future-ready leadership as the company accelerates its artificial intelligence strategy. Effective this month, she will lead the people strategy for one of Wipro's fastest-growing businesses, with responsibility for developing AI-ready talent, strengthening leadership capabilities, and supporting the company's AI-driven transformation.

In her new role, Priya will oversee workforce transformation, talent strategy, leadership development, organisational effectiveness, employee experience, and capability building across Wipro's expanding AI-native business ecosystem. She will play a key role in ensuring the organisation has the skills, culture, and leadership needed to support innovation and long-term business growth.
A seasoned HR professional with more than 20 years of experience, Priya brings expertise across talent management, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, HR business partnering, organisational transformation, and global people strategy. Throughout her career, she has partnered with senior business leaders to build high-performing teams, lead large-scale transformation programmes, and implement people practices that drive business success.
Before her latest appointment, Priya served as Head of HR for Wipro's Enterprise Applications Global Service Line, where she managed end-to-end global HR operations for one of the company's largest service lines comprising more than 35,000 professionals across offshore and onsite markets. She was responsible for HR strategy across sales, delivery, capabilities, and strategic partnerships while also leading integration initiatives across acquired businesses operating in multiple geographies.
Her responsibilities spanned several enterprise technology practices, including SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, ServiceNow, Infor, and Digital Experience, giving her extensive experience in managing talent across complex global business environments.
Prior to joining Wipro, Priya spent more than nine years at Capgemini, where she held several senior HR leadership positions. Her roles included Global Head of Talent and Learning for the Cloud Global Business Line, HR Head for the Banking and Capital Markets Business Unit, and Global Lead for Talent and Diversity within the Financial Services Strategic Business Unit. During her tenure, she strengthened talent strategies, enhanced leadership development programmes, and advanced diversity and inclusion initiatives across global teams.
Earlier in her career, Priya founded EQubes Consulting, an HR consulting venture, and also worked at KANBAY before it became part of Capgemini. These experiences strengthened her expertise in organisational effectiveness, HR business partnering, and people transformation.
Her appointment comes as technology companies increasingly invest in AI-focused leadership to build future-ready workforces. By placing an experienced HR leader at the helm of its AI Native Business and Platforms Unit, Wipro aims to strengthen its people capabilities while supporting continued innovation and growth across its AI-powered technologies and platforms.
